This page describes, plainly, what happens to your information if you use standingorder.tech. There is no marketing list here and nothing is sold. If something below is unclear, email jordan@standingorder.tech and ask.

What this site itself collects

Nothing you type, and nothing with your name on it. The cost calculator works out your numbers in your browser, and you only pick from options, so there is no free text to collect. The options you pick (what you'd like to fix, who does it, how many people, roughly how many hours) are counted in the site's usage analytics, tied to an anonymous visit and not to you. See Analytics below. If you use your answers to book a call, they are also handed to Cal.com's booking form so you are not asked the same questions twice. See the next section for what that involves.

What booking a call involves

The booking calendar on this page is provided by Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, email address, and your answers to the booking questions, and shares them with Standing Order so the call can happen. Cal.com's own handling of that data is governed by Cal.com's privacy policy, not this one. Standing Order receives your booking details to prepare for and hold the call, and for no other purpose.

What is not collected. No marketing list, no newsletter signup exists on this site. Booking a call is not, and does not create, a standing consent to be contacted for anything else.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they land on. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites, which is why there is no cookie banner here. See Cloudflare's own description of how it works.

It also uses Umami Cloud, run by Umami Software, Inc., to learn what to improve on the site. It records:

None of this is tied to your name or email. Umami sets no cookies and says it does not collect personally identifiable information or track you across other sites; see Umami's FAQ. Like any service you connect to, it receives your IP address with the request, and its privacy policy does not say whether that is masked. Umami Cloud describes its servers as being in the US and EU, and this site's account is set to its EU region. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, nothing is recorded.

The demo video

The video on the demo page is stored on Cloudflare R2, Cloudflare's file storage, and plays in your browser's own video player. Like any request for a file, Cloudflare receives your IP address when you press play. No cookies are set and nothing about you is recorded by Standing Order.

Your rights

Under South Africa's POPIA and, where it applies, the EU's GDPR, you can ask what personal information Standing Order holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email jordan@standingorder.tech for any of these, there is no form to fill in.
